Urijah Faber will be remembered for bigger and badder moments, but the "California Kid's" final win was something he will never forget.
Fighting against one of his best friends, Faber controlled his bout with Brad Pickett throughout the 15 minutes of action leading to the unanimous decision victory.
Faber's best strike of the match came in the first round when he dropped Pickett with a straight left hand.
Faber went in to try and get the submission and/or knockout, but could not finish off Pickett. The two would continue to brawl over the final two rounds, but Pickett never really mustered much of an offensive attack.
"It's such a surreal experience. I love doing this," Faber said after the fight. "Nothing like it in the world. But I am ready to move forward and do big things."
Although he never held UFC gold, Faber's 13-year career will be remembered as one of the most action-packed of any fighter in MMA history.
